Allows communication by email (free to qualified HAM operators or by subscription to Sailmail), weather fax, Navtex, RTTY, etc. Dynaplate grounding plate (new 2004) with 3” copper tape and copper sheet lining inside hull for RF grounding. Standard Horizon ‘Quest’ panel mounted VHF radio (new 2004) with DSC linked to GPS with masthead mounted VHF aerial. Remote B&G pod mounted vhf deck speaker. 
Electricidad/Motor:
Trace T240 120/240 volt transformer allowing mains connection to either standard European (220-240 volt 50 hertz) or US (120 volt 60 hertz) incoming power. Deck sockets and 60’ of 30 amp flexible power leads (US) or 60’ of 16 amp (240 volt). Heart Interface ‘Freedom Marine’ Model 30 3000 watt inverter (new November 2002) providing up to 25 amps of power at 120 volts (60 hertz) to power outlets throughout vessel. Remote panel for inverter allows control of Charger, Inverter, Power Sharing, Battery Equalization, Incoming Shore Power Capacity (adjustable to avoid overloading shore power breaker). Power outlets in following locations: Forward Stateroom, Forward Head, Salon, Galley (x2) Navigation Station, Aft Stateroom, Aft Head. Charger: Heart Interface Freedom Marine inverter provides 140 amp battery charger to main domestic bank with secondary (echo) 15 amp charge to engine starting bank. Solar Panels: 4 ‘Unisolar’ flexible 32 watt solar panels (new May 2004) (mounted on bimini) 1 Seimens M65 43 watt rigid solar panel. Flexcharge high efficiency regulator and over-charge ceramic heat sink for solar panels Solar vent to forward head Power Management: Sterling Power Management control with shunts for alternator output and voltage, solar panel output, main battery bank consumption/charge, main panel consumption. Blue Sea Digital voltmeter (new 2006) on electrical panel Electrical panel with A/C & D/C circuit breakers with LED warning lights. Battery Wiring & Switching: 12v Power bus cable from domestic battery bank to main electrical panel allows switching in, or out, of all batteries independently. Balmar 90 amp alternator driven off engine with Balmar regulator control and secondary Sterling power regulator (switchable between the two or alternator off). Multi battery 150 amp isolator separating alternator from domestic battery bank. Main 200 amp fuse to domestic battery bank.

Forward Cabin: Forward V berth stateroom with connecting door to private head. Hanging locker and storage under bed. Access to anchor locker by waterproof bulkhead door. Forward Head: Blue plastic laminate surfaces with basin, hot & cold pressured water, shower, teak framed oval mirror and cabinet behind and below basin. Forward head can be discharges overboard or to 20 gallon holding tank (system complete with manual pump and diverting valves). Saloon: With port and starboard settees in teal color ultra-suede. Each settee pulls out to provide a bed. Hanging locker forward. Storage behind settee backs and below seating. Behind seating on each side are front and back lockers separated with book shelf on starboard side and flat panel TV on port side. Double fold down leaf solid teak table with insert to drinks storage in center. Galley: It has two round stainless steel sinks, gimbaled two burner stove with grill and oven, Crosby 12v refrigerator with freezer (overhauled 2004), microwave, pressure water system, cooking fan for ventilation, overhead ventilation, many storage cabinets and drawers. Navigation station: to starboard. Engine room: To port with utility cupboards. Sound insulation to engine room, automatic and manual fire extinguishing. Connecting corridor to aft stateroom with 2 large shelved lockers and storage shelf over. Aft Stateroom: Owners stateroom aft has full sized queen mattress (purpose made 5” laytex with 2” surface memory foam custom made Community Mattresses of California in October 2004), private head, changing seat aft of door and hanging locker and drawers to starboard, below bunk storage. Lazarette: aft with large storage capacity.  
Velas:
Originally sloop rigged but modified to cutter with addition of roller staysail with special purpose made custom mast & deck fittings by Garhauer Marine (November 2004). Standing Rigging: Single spreader, heavy gauge aluminum mast stepped on keel (new keel step December 2004) with double rope clutch (new 2004), cleats, and two Barient #21 halyard winches Boom, heavy gauge aluminum, with 3 rope clutch (new 2005) and Lewmar 16 double speed winch (new 2004). All stainless standing rigging renewed in 2003 from Nance & Underwood of Fort Lauderdale. Profurl NC42 manual roller furling (serviced and bearings replaced 2004) with reefing line led aft to cockpit with block and cam cleat. Inner forestay with Profurl B35S manual roller reefing inner forestay (all new December 2004) with reefing line led aft to cockpit Garhauer sliding genoa cars on rail-mounted s/s track with 4 purchase tackle led back to cam cleats for easy adjustment from cockpit. Custom made turning genoa sheet blocks by Garhauer Marine (new October 2004) Coach-roof mounted tracks with adjustable Garhauer fairlead cars for staysail sheets. Garhauer solid boom vang (new 2004) led back through deck organizer (new 2005) to rope clutch (new 2005) in cockpit. 2 Barient #28 self sailing primary winches to cockpit. Mainsheet traveler and car (all new 2004) with 4 purchase block traveler car adjustment with cam cleats, 2 boom bails with 5 Garhauer blocks (all new 2004) to mainsheet with clutch to Barient #21 winch. Lewmar Ocean 40 two speed reefing winch to cockpit Telescopic aluminum whisker pole (stored on mast)

Current Price: US$ 156,000 Tax Paid. The renowned Gulfstar 43, built in 1979 by Lazzara Boatyard in St Petersburg, Florida, USA, has beautiful classic lines and the center cockpit configuration and robust rig provides exceptional safety for shorthanded, long distance sailing. This boat displays varnished teak trim on deck, dark blue hull with red trim-line and boot-top, cream and off-white deck and lots of custom made stainless steel fittings. Below deck, the interior is varnished teak throughout with luxurious, but practical, ultra-suede to sofa cushions and to removable panels to all ceilings (except heads). This boat has been painstakingly restored and set up with every modern sailing aid and convenience and is offered complete and ready to sail away. She crossed the Atlantic in spring of 2005. The vessel is VAT paid and the purchaser may either retain the boat in Europe or back in the USA without any importation taxes becoming payable.
